SEX THERAPY. Few counselors are certified as sex therapists; even fewer are Christians serious about their faith. MT is one of the few Certified Sex Therapists who practices from a distinctly Christian framework, a critical component for clients who wish to address sensitive sexual topics from a Christian worldview without being offended by the culture’s distorted sexual values.

The practice of sex therapy is designed to help clients address the various aspects of sexuality causing them distress. MT specializes in working with individuals who are struggling with issues related to sexual integrity, including internet pornography, sexual compulsivity/addiction, marital infidelity, single adult issues, and unwanted same-sex attraction. He also works with spouses and parents, who are often carrying a load of confusion, hurt and shame as a result of their loved one’s struggles.

GENERAL PRACTICE. While MT’s focus is predominantly related to issues of sexual integrity, he provides a limited amount of “general” individual counseling for adults and adolescents suffering from emotional, relational and spiritual difficulties. Examples include clients suffering from depression, anxiety, grief & loss, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), adjustment to new life situations, and single adult life.
